Swap wont turnover
I didn't change it out, I have a 88 vert so the stock ecu should work perfect. I'll try some more tomorrow with oil and cranking it over. It should start so I'm not too worried about it, maybe I should push start it.
cas works fine, When I got the engine it still had the oem sticker over the adjusting nut for the cas. I held the plugs next to the block and all 4 fire just fine. I keep doing the egi trick until all the black liquidy crap comes out? I'm doing the egi trick right now, I've done it about 5 times now for 8secs each, a little bit of black goo is coming out now. I wipe the spark plugs holes then crank it over and see that there is black goo in the holes. I should keep going until I see no more fluid come out? Or will there always be some fluid.
I put some royal purple in, about 1once all together, do I need more. I remember reading an archive for the atf trick and they said 1ounce per sparkplug hole, that kinda seems excessive. When I got off work round 3 today I just kept doing the egi trick, I'm still doing it just letting the starter cool. Do I get all the crap out then put the oil in and spark plugs then try?
I took my plugs out and hooked a plug up to each wire and put against the engine but the spark plugs didn't spark, I assume my plugs are foul'd. They have some oil inside the top of them so I'm gonna go order some plugs from autozone, they don't have any in stock which pisses me off.
