Surgery :Wife and RX

Well my wife had surgery yesterday so like a devoted husband I said I would stay home with her today. Well, while the were operating yesterday I studied my hayes manual and my down loaded instruction for engine removal. So, while I was home today I started engine removal (1990 GXL auto, no compression front rotor).I mean staying at home includes outside too, right ? At least that is what it says in my man manual. It went really well, no broken bolts, bones or blood. It does look complicated to put back in. Im worried I may have to offer an all expence trip to Va.
Why does the down loaded version say to unhook the computer instead of all the motor connections (thats what I did)? After I got done I took a ride in Tiffany my TII to ease my mind . Oh and the wife shes doing fine ! Peace out.

You can pull the harness either way. I pulled all my connections off the motor & left the harness in the bay. But I have heard its easier to pull it from the ECU .. but there is only 10-15 connoectors I didnt have a hard time at all with the wiring .. you can't really hook it up wrong they are all color coded and sized. The hardess part is routing them so they all reach.
