i am new to all this about making your car run faster, i was doing some research on supewrcharging my 1988 rx7 gxl but the prices are outrages is better to get a turbo 2 instead. well anyway i was wondering if there is a way to make your own supercharge unit or turbocharge your car with turbos from a wreck turbo 2. if anybody has an idea or comments please post. remember the point is to homemake this unit with limited budget.

Um... you're best bet is to do a search (if it's working)
Otherwise, if you want a turbo for your NA, you're better off just buying a TII to begin with. Althought the NA to TII conversion can be done, it's quite the hassle and can cost alot. But if you the time and money, by all means...

 

there is a minor turbo kit for the NAs around, but I've lossed the link.

It basically works without an intercooler, is only good for ~5-8psi. It works well though as the NA engine can't take above 6psi without porting.
