Super Now Tie Rod Ends

I was just reading through one of the latest magazines, can't remember which one. It had some thing with some of the dudes from Drift Allience(sp?) and they were showing a tie rod end for FCs. Called it the Super Now Tie Rod End, available through Rotary Xecret 7. Well, I E-mailed them and they told me they don't carry anything like it. The magazine had their website wrong so I'm hoping maybe someone else does carry these. Anyone know?

I dont really have any more info on these. There might be some other threads on this topic, so do a search. I think they were about $150?

it allows you to turn more, gives you a higher degrees of turning. people use it for drifting.

DAMN! It's 300+ for the ones that work... I'd like mor angle and all but I think there are other mods that'll make you drift better than those will. I might jsut put spacers in my stock ones.

eric.
It also moves the steering rods downwards, giving an unparallel angle in between the steering rods and the lower control arms, and resulting in bumpsteer. Bumpsteer sucks.

ummm...your turning abillity is built on an axis. How can the tie rod ends allow to "turn more" or "give you a higher degree of turning" without adjust toe?

Once a realignment is done, these things do nothing but look like a retarded sticker on some cheaply anodized aluminum.

Still waiting on the ever-so-technical reasoning as to why spacers are dangerous...

bump FTW.

Let's get this settled, if spacing the stock tie rods by 1/4 of an inch for more angle, how is that dangerous?

Won't the SUPERNOW tie rod ENDS act just as the stock ends, though they have a spherical bearing end?

Please explain what specifically gives increased angle.

the ends dont do anything but cancel out some bumpsteer.

the spacers that come with them is what allows more angle. its hard to explain, but they let the rack turn more before the stops, allowing more angle.

i have the GPsports one, which is the same exact thing. although ive yet to install it.

They add bumpsteer, not cancel it.
