So i was cleaning and lubing up the tracks and new used sunroof motor with help from the archived thread, when i went to re-shim the driver side track i realized that the cast aluminum mount that holds the copper tubing/cables in place totally broke thus the reason why my sunroof didnt work properly. So, my question is this, would i have any luck drilling the rivets out of the current broken piece and re-riveting in a new piece or should i plan on dropping the entire sunroof and replace everything?

Well I have 2 complete track assemblies that have been laying around for some time I'd be willing to part with one on the cheap. Pm me and we can work out a price. Shipping is kinda expensive due to size and weight however.
