Question Sunroof And Idle Problems.

Hey, Just wanted to know if anyone could tell me what causes the car to idle so erratically when its warm. Itll go from nearly dying and then back up to 1500 rpms over and over, is that normal?

Also, I recently took out my sunroof to clean the tracks and noticed one of the wires on the switch needed to be resoldered, i put the sunroof back in and it worked, then i resoldered the wire and it worked for a day now it doesnt.. wire is still connected. When i press the sunroof button the voltage meter on the gauge panel doesnt move. Does this mean its the switch ?

For the idle, you need to adjust the mechanical idle per the FSM for your car. Basically, jumper the initial set connector and adjust the idle screw to 750 rpm.

Having experienced this in the past, I can tell you that as soon as you jumper the check connector, the car will probably die. If so, go ahead and turn the idle adjust screw counter-clockwise 2 full turns, then start her up and try jumpering the connector again. Clockwise to decrease idle speed, CCW to increase...

For the sunroof, no guesses here. If you think the switch is bad, grab a meter and check for voltage past the switch when activated. No voltage- bad switch...
