any way I can block the sunroof off so the sun doesn't bake my interior? Even if it is tinted, I don't want the sun blazing down on me every time I'm driving the car.
I live in TX so thats a big problem haha.

I figured as much. If you used something similar to what sub boxes are made out of and covered the bottom with the same stuff that is on normal Sunroofs that would be a good deal. Or you could have it fit onto those screws I see sticking down somehow. Whatever it is I want it to be solid, but I don't want it knocking me out when the velcro adhesives melt in Texas 100+ weather.

I thought letting the sunlight in was the whole point. If you don't want the sun blazing down on you, get a solid metal sunroof...

What's that got to do with it? If you don't want sun blazing in, then don't get one. Seems simple...

There are more reasons to buying a lexan unit over a metal one than having "the sun blazing in". Less weight and zero rust are my reasons to get one of these puppies. My roof is sun faded and the paint is begining to bubble up on me.

My friend went from a 13.80 to 12.00 1/4 Mile just by installing the roof.

J/k, but the car does look better going down the track

The combination of several pro's outweighs the con's. This is going on my daily driver too so if the sun "blazing" down on me is a problem i'll make sure to mention to put more emphasis on a sun shade option.
