Sunroof
Ok now the sunroof will open but it closes real slow and doesnt want to close, with out be helped out.. So what should I be looking for , is it the cabels, or something else, is there a link to a repair as there is with other things on these cars ?
Clean the tracks or rails as well as possible then apply lithium grease in front and behind the track guides and then use the opening closing procedure to spread the gease evenly throughout.
manual over power any day! = most reliable
my track seized up and i actually gutted my tracks and made the sunroof manual (push up and slide back), it took a while to get used to because one side was always easier to slide than the other, but now ive got it down. plus i dont have the sunroof carpet so its easier to grip and im still working on a good latching/locking system.
