my sunroof doesn't work right. it moves a little bit (like an inch or two)
put then it jsut gets stuck there. it's always don't that even when i bought it the buy didn't know how to take it off to get to it, so he jsut left it alone. but do the tracks on it just need to be aligned? or is it something else? and how much does it cost to get that done? or can you do it yoursefl? help me out thanks.

 

The motor is wearing out and your tracks need to be cleaned. Get some lubrication and clean the tracks out. get some shop napkin paper to clean it out. Make sure the spray has some teflon on it. DO NOT USE WD40!!! It is not a good long term lubricant.

Spray some lithium grease in it.

 

Mine is starting to get stuck when going up. I have to push it up and it will work fine. It closes fine. Dirty also? you think?

 

Anybody got sunroof diagrams? I wanna take it out and see what's going on...
