Angry Summit RPM Switch, not picking up RPM!

Ok, I got this Summit RPM Switch for my 6-ports project and I can't get it to work. The green light, which is the indicator that it has reached the set RPM, does not come on. I tried connecting to both the leading and trailing and it won't work. I know eveything is hooked up right because the red led is on, which means it's getting power. BTW, this is already the second replacement from Summit Racing. Anybody has experience with this RPM switch?

You should be using the Yellow/blue tach wire found at the Power steering computer, trailing coil, and gauge cluster. It is the buffered wire designed for anything that normally needs a tach signal.

Does that have the bullet connector? The ones that I tried were white wire with bullet connector (leading) and yellow wire with bullet connector (trailing). Shouldn't these 2 work as well?

I haven't had the white you mention work with Remote start systems, (either dip switch cyl programable or read programable) so I would say no.

If you are under the hood the yellow/blue at the coil should work, I am not sure what solid yellow you have found, as I have never seen a non-striped yellow wire at the trailing coil pack.
