Suggestions for a damaged FC.
i Found an S5 but the front passenger area was hit in an accident. I haven't seen the car yet but i was told that the "place where you mount the strut bar" was moved a little bit. SO there is structural damage.. THe FC is going to be sold for VERY cheap and everything is fine. How much would it cost to repair the amount of damage done (i know it's repairable for a decent amount of money, but don't know how much it would cost). Do they have to put it on some sort of frame machine to straighten everything out?
figure 500-600 set up time and pull time by a GOOD frame guy. Usually there is one guy in the area that all the shops use to do their difficult pulls.
Be flexible with the guy, he is an artist. Respect what he says. Have the car there when he tells you too and pick it up ASAP when he is done. Dont do anything to the car until HE lloks at it and tells you how he wants to see it delivered for repair.
My 2 cents on the subject

Is it a Turbo? It would be worth buying just for the engine and drivetrain for a turbo swap into a clean shell. Whatever body parts can be scavenged would have some value, same with interior.
But if your looking for a car to buy and drive, this is not it.

Ditto. If it has a clean interior, you can probably get 300 just from that. I wouldn't touch anything with frame damage. The repairs could end up costing more than the car is worth.
