suggestions on colors for my Rx7

I was planning on repainting my car a very light baby blue with 2 white racing stripes down the middle, and I was wondering if anyone has done this and what it looks like, I just want to know what the baby blue would look like on this car before I decide. Also what are y'all's opinion on the white stripe, should I do carbon fiber accents instead? I want my car to stand out but not look ricey and still incorporate the baby blue color on the car. The cars paint is completely destroyed, so there is no need to keep stock color.

Your choice, but as you posted got to reply, to me baby blue is terrible, but many don't share my thoughts:

While not my personal choice, i can see a light/baby blue looking good. But stripes, no. I think it will stand out plenty as a light blue. Plus, as you are in to drifting, when you throw that T2 hood on for weight reduction, the stripes will certainly look wrong.

Well it's your car and your $/time, so our opinions on what color to paint it are completely subjective so I'll keep my opinions to myself. That said, what kind of FC is this and what kind of condition is it in? Reason I ask is because some of the rarer models of the FC (e.g., say a 10thAE, S5 turbo, or 89-90 GTU-S) are rising up in collector value, so if you happen to have one of those FCs and if it's in great shape otherwise, has low miles and is completely unmolested/unmodified, you should keep it that way. In other words, restore the paint back to its original color when it rolled off Mazda's factory.

I agree, I changed my mind on the white stripes, but I am thinking of a carbon fiber hood and give the car carbon fiber accents

Glad you changed your mind on stripes. But with that said, if you wanted stripes, do what makes you feel good about the car!
