Is there a way to make it so your headlights stay up but the lights aren't actually on? I can do it on my MR2 by pushing the light switch in and twisting, and I know 240SX's can do it 'cuz I've seen them with their lights up but not on. I just couldn't figure out if and how to do it on my S5 'cuz I'm...well, a n00b. Oh, and one other question, did all years of the FC come with the stupid power-retracting seatbelts? I seriously hate them and I want to scrap them for normal (3pt?) seatbelts.

um..... u know the switch that turns on the headlights?
the black switch above that is what u are looking for.....

S4 had non-power seat belts
S5 has them

but just an advice to you, if u don't wanna get flammed in the future, and get harassed by the SEARCH gang..... i do suggest u search a bit =) the seat belt thing is very common, people swap from S5 to S4 belts to ditch the automatic belts.....

the headlight thing.... u don't have alot of buttons to push, try them all.... it is not like one of thme is the Engine drop button.....

s5 came with power retracting (at least the tII's did. not sure about base-models. i would assume no with those). s4's didnt. as far the headlight thing--theres a smaller **** just above the headlight rotator. you need to rotate that smaller **** forward to keep the headlights up. not sure why you would want to do that--but thats how you do it.

lol the head lights pop up with the **** right above the headlight switch. and s5's (89-91) coupes came with the mouse belts (auto). a word of advice, you will problably be ripped a new one for asking this and not searching, I was new too once so i know what its like, welcome to the club.

EDIT: damn i got beat to it. poping them up w/o being on is helpful when its icy out, so you can leave them up before it snows and ****. that way when you go to turn them on, they won't pop up, therefor saving you from damaging the headlight assemblies.

^^ Exactly ^^ And I like to leave them up at night if I know I'm going driving again; it saves the motors at least a little. As for the seatbelts, yeah I should've searched....Good to know though. And wow, how the hell did I not notice that switch??!
