Hey guys..I finally finished the almost year long project of replacing the engine in my 86 gxl...I have some last questions for you all though...

1. I am going to run premix because my omp is going crazy and leaking everywhere, and I have all the lines hooked up..people have said to use about 1oz per gallon of a tcw-3 two stroke oil..do I just dump it in the tank before i fill up? after i fill up? How does it get mixed in with the gas sufficiently..

2. I removed power steering..now my car has quite an annoying beep..any advice on where the beep is coming from and how it can be stopped?

3. Where does the vacuum line for cruise control go!?!? I can't find a nipple anywhere for it...

as for the premix ive heard just 8oz for a fillup, but it could possibly be more. is the beeping sound like the redline beep or is it different?

 

1 oz per gal would be the maximum you would want.

if you read the FAQ for FC sticky thread at the top of the section you would have seen that the beeps are the power steering computer telling you there is an error. Probably that it can't "see" the power steering pump since you said you removed the power steering. So in other words you didn't remove the power steering, you partially removed the power steering.

You would need to either fix the power steering or unplug the power steering computer for the beep to stop.

The intake runner next to the firewall has a small nipple on it for the cruise control.
