Short ram intake

http://www.andysautosport.com/produc...0Ram%20Intakes

here are some from andys auto sport

My question is, im looking at the "HKS Super Mega Flow Kit" and was wondering how are short ram intakes size up to cold air intakes or just aftermarket air filters.
Is this a good investment or what, i want to get a good intake for cheep ($150 or less) and does any one have any more suggestions. thanks guys

Short rams are pointless waists of cash. Build your own or look for one of Check Points old kits.

yes. Shouldn't cost you more than maybe $50 to make your own. If you search around on the forum, you shoudl be able to see some examples of other people's own CAIs.
