Styling for Rear with Turbo II lip and Sides?
Respond turthfully in this thread, dont hold back. (yes u can call me a ricer) I would like to hear opinions, be pointed towards possible options, and show me pics if you got em. In the near future I will be adding a turbo II front lip and turbo II sideskirts to my crystal white 91 coupe (yes its still n/a and will retain the n/a hood) I would like to know if there are any subtle rear add-ons or rear skirts that I could throw in with the lip and side skirts to give the car a more complete look. Or should I keep the rear stock like on the stock Turbo IIs? I wouldnt mine something a little different, just as long as it flows with the front and sides, I dont want some random rear bumper that looks retarted, drops lower than the sides and front, and just dosent make sense. All input appreciated.
MODS please dont move this to the visual or interior/exterior section as it is still reltaed to FCs and nothing gets reponded to in those sections.
-thanks

Thats what I have and will put on. I have a "Lucky" front lip, TII sides, and these. Seen some pictures and really complete the car. Atkins Dan has a nice TII swapped car with that set up too. Search for it and there's a ton of pictures.

i dont see anything wrong with putting the TII sideskirts and lip on an NA car. they honestly make the fc so good. i say keep the rear end stock....it all flows well and theres no need for any thing else in the back imo.

personally i like the corksport rear pieces. they go right on your 89-91 rear bumper, and give it that little something. not ricey at all, looks very good in my opinion.

My car came with a set of those (both front and back) and I removed them almost immediately.
They must have been a Mazda option part because they fit nicely but after seeing two cars in the junkyard that had rust cancer underneath them I decided they had to go. They are made of some kind of closed cell foam/plastic or something (not hard like fiberglass etc.- in fact, they are probably made out of the same stuff as the rear wing) and seem to absorb water and dirt and hold it on the underlying steel.
I did kinda like they way they looked but the risk of rust seemed too high for my DD.
If you don't drive in snow (cause they also retain a lot of snow/ice in the wheelwell) they'd probably be OK.
I'm still (three months later) trying to remove the adhesive they left behind without trashing the paint but fortunately there was no rust underneath...I consider myself lucky.
