Stupid seat belts!!
My passsenger seat belt does not move along the rail any more.
i tried fixing it but the line that moves it on the rail comes out of the rail and the belt buckle gets stuck.
if i use a allen key and turn the winder on the pillars the belts goes to the correct position and then works for a period of time then gets stuck again.
How do i fix this my self?
Or how do i disable the passenger seat belt buckle rail movement only?
my final solution is to get some nice seats cause the leather 1's are starting to tear and that also means 3 point harnesses..
seats are to be black and the belts are to be red..

Ted, Thanks for posting about the seat belt recall. I have seen this topic come up a few time recently and I am still surprised at how many people do not know about it.
I have disconnected all power to my sliding belts and permanently locked them down in the rear of the track. Now, to get out of the car, you have to reach up over your shoulder and unbuckle the emergency release. I "fixed" mine before I knew about the full service campaign from Mazda. I am currently looking for a set of black belts and interior trim pieces from an 87-88 FC to retro-fit into my 90 T2. The earlier cars did not have the automatic seat belts if I remember correctly.

Yeah, I had that recall saved somewhere, and I finally found it a few days ago.  If you still got the receipt, I think you can bug Mazda USA to reimburst you on the full amount...

I have had better luck either using gray (which was a very common series 4 interior color) or getting the black parts from someone in Canada (as Canada didn't get the mouse belts on series 5 cars).
