stupid question (sorry sometimes I'm retarded)

Does oil also go through the intercooler? I'm trying to find if there is any boost leak through my front mount intercooler however when taking apart my ic tubing all the tubing have oil inside it, is this good? I know our turbo's are cooled by oil but.....I don't know.

The oil in your intercooler is coming from your turbo. Stock turbo I assume?

A thin layer of oil in the intake system is normal. It's from the PCV system.

BUT if you're not boosting very much and you've got a SIGNIFICANT amount of oil in your IC plumbing then your turbo might be walking it's way out.

no just a thin layer is on it so thats normal! just can't find where the turbo problem is. I"ve tried

1. took tid off and found no shaft play and spins freely
2. checked all hoses everything looks connected.
3. checked the wastegate actuator and it is not stuck
4. checked for boost leak from fmic tubes fixed on problem but still not alot of boost.
5. checked for vacuume leaks.

Anything else?
