Stupid question, but answer needed.

I used to think that thr RX-7's were rear wheel drive, but according to other sources (Gran Tourismo 3 and the guy that works at the tire shop in my town) it is front wheel drive. This questions my theory of what a true sportscar is (Rear wheel drive, 2 seats) could someone clarify this for me.

The RX7 is a sports car and not a grocery getter. They only have been available with rear wheel drive for its entire history.

And if the guy that works at a tire shop doesn't know this... I don't know if I would take my car to him for tires.

what a douche. all rx7s are RWD. Well, there was a 2nd gen rally car that was 4wd but that was sponsored racing. So other than that they are all RWD.
Its japanese, must be FWD. Right?
