WHAT?????

Are you serious?

It doesn't matter, if water gets on the IC, it will just drain/dry off.

CORY,

I think we all could do without the "C" word in your avatar.

Having fun and expressing your self is one thing. Degregtrating any person, group or sex is BS. You dont have to like people, however, you do have to act repsonsible. There are several words that IMHO cross the line, the "C" word and "N" word are two of those.

I just term'd a guy making nearly 100K for the use of one of those words, I just can't let people on the job degregrate the company for a bit of impact in their communication. Thats my $0.02.

sorry to get off topic here.

well i don't think too many people are worried about the hoodscoop thing, so i imagine this thread dying quickly anyways. actually, dezerte, werent you the one who asked about the common housefly getting into the intake??
anyways, gadget, who is the picture degrading towards? it says "i think you're" which isn't very specific. if you want to call it sacreligious, than that's another topic. some people are religious, others are sacreligious. we have to live in one another's world and, ideally, would could all leave each other alone. unfortunately, its not that easy. its a really big topic to get into, but i will say that i try to look past things that don't really affect me. there's a time and place for debating certain topics, but i don't see this as one of them.
i'd say that's my two cents, but as always, i could talk for hours.

I'm not going to ask what the "N" word is.... Honestly I don't care.

I don't see that my avatar is offending anyone, and I don't see anything wrong with it. There is people with rump shaking going on in their avatar, go gripe at them!

To stay on topic, what I will be doing is blocking the hole for the scoop. I ordered one of the aftermarket scoops, and will have a section of CF cut to fit on the inside toward the windshield and molded in. I have a mint oem scoop so if there ever is a need, I just switch back.

"to stay on topic"?!?!!? if you look back at the previous post you were the one that got off of the topic bitching about how cory's avatar is and no i dont find that degrading at all, i actually find it somewhat humerous, so honestly just stfu ive learned 5 years ago when i first started college just let it go if it religiously offends you... hell im not religious but i dont care if you are or if an avatar makes fun of religion

the water has a drip path to the ground if it doesn't evaporate first, plus water is good for your intercooler, think of it as your intercooler is sweating i hooked my windshield sprayer to mine

water, though i may be mistaken, is the best anti-detonation liquid there is. if its not the best, i believe its one of. a little bit of water won't hurt. if it were me, i wouldnt be going ***** out, wide open throttle redline pull in the rain as is.

In turbo applications if your thinking of water injection the water form the scoop does not make it into the engine, however it cant hurt the intercoolers perfomrance as pointed out earlier.

In NA applications - it just runs down your engine. Not a real big deal, however, if you have spent a bunch cleaning and paing your engine and accsy's, you might not like the resluts. That is why I am blocking mine off. I have a bunch spent in powercoating. dont want to be int there cleaning after getting caught in the rain.
