Stupid question
when i start my engine (usually when engine is cold):
runnin real lean and wreaks like gasoline, fog out the tailpipes.
O2 Sensor right? i am just asking in case there is something else that could contribute to this.

The rotary engine does run very rich at cold start. Most engines do run rich at cold start, BTW. If the outside temps are low you may get some condensation (i.e., water vapor) out the tailpipe. Is that the "fog" you're referring to or is it smoke? A little smoke out the tailpipe is not unusual either but it should disappear after a few minutes.

im sorry i meant to say rich earlier. it does it warm or cold, when i said cold earlier i meant the engine isnt warmed up. its a gassy fog not smoke out the tailpipe. it could be the humidity of Louisiana (I moved) that is making the smell more noticeable and the vapor more visible while warm outside? I understand that C's always run real rich during startup but it never resulted in the wreaking of gasoline until lately.
