stupid light won't turn off

stupid light won't turn off

My washer fluid light on my dash is always on. my thing is full though. So i was wonder where is the sensor so i can ground it out and turn that dumb light off. Thanks

If its not the sensor its probably a cold solder joint on one of the CPUs

Hey Jessica,

The level switch is located in the actual fluid tank itself. According to the wiring diagram, it can be on the left or right front of the engine compartment. Well, the filler tube, anyway. The actual tank would be right below it in the front fender between the wheel and the headlight cavity. To get at it, you will need to remove the panel cover in the front of the wheel well. There you will find the tank, and the plug (a four-prong one, powers the motor as well). Sensor wires are green (power) and black (grd.).
Oh by the way, this does NOT go through the CPU. Have fun!
