ok this is stupid but.. . I was talking to the guy at the local j-yard about a fc that races in the super stock class. He said that the fc was running carbed as it could only run the type of fuel system that it came from the factory with, and the driver had proven it was carbed from the factory. Now i was about 99% sure this was bullshit, but didn't want to look like an ***. So did any fc's ever come carbed ? anywhere?

All 1986 - 1991 Mazda RX-7's were fuel injected.

I've seen some early ones with dizzy's (probably prototype/preproduction ones) but I've never ever seen one with a carb.

 

European FCs had distributers. But none with carburetors (thankfully).
