Question Stumped on a wire

Ok guys, I am stumped here and am not too good at reading electrical diagrams and such. Yes, I even gave it a shot and looked at the FSM and Wiring Diagrams, as well as the Haynes book for the car. Anyhow, I have a wire coming off the same harness that has the plugs for the CAS, alternator (post terminal), water temp switch at radiator, etc. Now from the harness the wire is yellow with a red stripe (no, not the one that goes to the oil pressure sending unit), and goes into a female connector. Now on the male connector that plugs into it, it's a black wire with no other connection at the end of it (as if it fell off, corroded off, or was yanked off). Where does that other end plug into? Does it get grounded or am I missing a connector on there? I've taken a look at the engine (which is out of the car) and could not see a spot that had a connector on it and was missing a wire. The harness is draped over the fender. This is on an 86 N/A GXL.

Thanks

the yellow/red is for the condensor for the oil pressure sender. It mounts on the top of the tranny near or on the clutch slave.
