stuck trottle cable

My idle is high becasue my trottle cable is sticky. If I pull up on the gas pedal it will return to proper idle. How do I fix this?

Pop open your hood, find the throttle cable and follow it to the throttle assy. Shoot it with a bunch of wd40 and work it. Let us know if it helps.
