Stuck Sunroof
In case you didnt knoe.......it's raining pretty good down here in Sunny FLA. and my sunroof is having all sorts of problems. i had it open and tried to close just like normal and only 1 side seemed to move....it took me a solid hour to get it closed using some pure muscle
but anywayz is there a way to take it completly off? i think its off the track. thank you

Well do you mean take the entire sunroof and track out, or just take the lid off so you can see what's going on underneath it? If you want to just take the lid off that's fairly simple. Open the sunroof slightly, then pull down on the interior cover of the lid (there are some snap-clips holding the cover onto the inside of the sunroof lid). After that, you can remove the nuts that are there (I believe there are 4 10mm nuts). Careful not to lose the shims that are between the nuts and the "frame" of the lid.
If you want to remove the entire sunroof unit, well you're looking at a lot more work to do that, which includes dropping part of the headliner and the front, rear, side trim pieces (hope yours are not brittle). Bunch more unbolting after that, but you'll be able to see it all after you drop the headliner. Good luck!
