Stuck on Removing Differential
I've taken all the bolts/nuts off except for the ones on the front mount (front mounting nuts). I've already lowered the subframe about an inch and don't think I can lower it more. as far as I can see right now the only thing holding the subframe up is the lateral link and the nuts that go on for that. Oh and the bolt for next to the subframe nuts. Those bolts are still in. Do they need to be removed (two bolts one on each side going towards the differential. The sublink has already been disconnected also.
The nuts seem to be on very tight, otherwise rusted on, would a torch make this job easier? (if i were to heat up the nuts)

Just drop it all the way to start with.
It is much easier, i know i just did this myself. Plus it is not hard to remove or put it back, espically if you have a friend around to help. I did it by myself without any problems but if i had someone else it would have been a piece of cake.
You need to remove a total of 5 bolts to drop the sub-frame and then remove the shocks.

Alright i was able to remove everything...but now i'm having trouble putting it back in lol.
i'm going in the same order as i removed them...maybe i removed things in the wrong order though because some things took some force (hammer). when the diff goes back in, do the wings go in first? or the front mounting bracket?

Reinstalling it is not hard BUT you DO have to line it all up just right or it will give you big problems.
In my case I first connected the bar that bolts tot he middle of the frame by the diff. It makes the rest much easier.
Then just slowly jack the sub-frame and diff until they are lined up with the studs and just below them. Once everything is lined up slowly and evenly jack them up onto the studs until you can get the bolts started.
Once you have them just just keep jacking evenly until you get it all the way one then tighten down the bolts.
Not real hard just have to line everything up jusdt right. First time i did it was not fun but ther second time went much faster.
