Stuck plug on transmission
I'm in the middle of changing the oil in the transmission but the fill plug will not budge. Would it be o.k to use the check hole plug to fill it back up ?

I would think so, but then again I only have two plugs on mine, so what do I know? If you can put the quantity in that the manual calls for, then why not?

Probably goes without saying now, but the unwritten (well, maybe it is written) rule is that you remove the fill plug first, then the drain plug. If you can't get the fill plug off, then at least their is still fluid in the tranny and you can still operate the vehicle safely. Draining the fluid just to find out that you can't get the fill plug out makes life harder.

Mine was also tough to get to. I used a lot of PB Blaster and let it sit for a bit, came back and smacked it around and blasted it a bit more, then attached my breaker bar to it and put a long, long pipe (cheater bar) at the end of that, and with a loud CRACK it came out. You gotta really try, but it will come!
