Struts, springs & ride height

OK, my car has been leaning to the the driver's side by about 1.5 inches. I pulled the strut assemblies & got to the struts themselves. I have Tokico Illuminas (installed in August of 1998)& 3 of the 4 could be compressed by putting the base on my chest & pulling with one arm. The 4th (& the only one I believe to be good) requires way more force to compress. Yes, they were all set on "1". Now, I know that theoretically the springs support the weight of the car & the struts'shocks dampen motion. Struts are also under higher internal pressure than shocks (therefore contributing a bit more to the height), correct. I talked to the previous owner & he says all 7's lean to the driver's side by 1/2 inch. The factory manual backs this up with a diference of .4 inches in spring length up front. I have Tokico springs. Would it be safe to assume that aftermarket springs are the same length side to side as opposed to one sid ebeing .4 inches shorter than the other?

After putting AGX's on this past weekend, the ride height looks to have evened out, but the car is waiting for injectors. I have yet to drive it & let the suspension "settle".

What are the chances that 3/4 struts are actually bad? There is no visible damage or oil leakage.
