struts and springs or coil over kits

i need 2 do some suspension work and i want to no wuts better . i hear that coils overs dont give a good ride quality but then i hear that they do give good ride quality i just want to see wut u guys say

Ride quality is entirely dependeant upon what type of springs and shocks you use. If you use a really stiff spring and leave an adjustable shock on full stiff, of course it's going to be harsh.

Unless you really want a huge drop or you need the adjustability for street and track, you'd be fine with some good aftermarket springs and shocks. Ride quality shouldn't suffer too much at all. Ride height adjustable coilovers are great, but unnecessary in most applications.
