Struts
I'm looking for a new pair of struts for my car. Are those KYB's on ebay anygood? I'm looking for somethng pretty cheap and if cheap enough a nice set of coils would be nice too. would the stock springs mount up to the kyb struts? i'm sure they should but i've never done much suspention work. any help would be great. thanks

KYB's are a bit hard riding, performance is pretty good. I prefer tokico blues myself. Racing beat sells them, and under $100 each as I recall.
Which ever you decide, you should stay with the same brand and model all around. Otherwise, your ride could be a bit funky.

i have the kyb agx....which is adjustable...gr2 isnt adjustable...i agree with hozzman...they are abit harsh on roads with bumps/potholes .....even on the softest setting they're still too harsh for my taste normally...but on turns..they're pretty good.....

* KYB GR2s are considered approximately OEM replacements. Good value.
* KYB AGXs are considered higher performers than stock and have adjustable damping rates. Good value.
* Tokico HPS (Blue) are non-adjustable and considered a little higher performance than stock. They're more expensive than GR2s, but all Tokico shocks have a lifetime warranty.
* Tokico Illuminas are adjustable and considered similar to the AGXs, but again are typically more expensive and have a lifetime warranty.
* Koni Yellows are adjustable and considered better than the Illuminas/AGXs, but are more expensive in the front. Rears are similar to Illumina prices. Other point with the fronts is that they are strut cartridges. That means you have to do a little custom work using peices of your old shocks to get them to work. They don't have the part of McPherson mounting bracket that the two bolts go through to connect to your suspension. (I'm not sure how to properly phrase that last sentence)
