Hey all,

I bought a used FC a while back, and the previous owner cut the springs. I've known for a while that the suspension needs to be replaced, and i'm just waiting on parts at the moment.

Last night, a piece of rubber fell out of the car. It looks like half of the rubber seat for the spring on the front left strut top.

Is this dangerous?

 

dangerous? no
annoying? yes
that rubber is meant as a buffer between the top of the spring and the mount. i have seen alot of rx7 without them there.
if you got the dough, replace it. if not, tra la la.

I have some kyb agx's and racing beat springs to put on, and i was going to get new strut tops pretty soon anyway. However, Spring Break just started and I'll be driving distances, so I wanted to make sure I wouldn't die or anything.
