intake tubing diameter?

i have a 86 gxl just wondering what diameter my intake tub would have to be when replacing it with aftermarket tubing. thanks

look at some of the builds on here,im sure 2.5 is more than enough at least for a stock rotary

haha but im not in my car right now, i figured it would be a simple answer, im looking into replacing it and was wondering what some of what you guys used, the stock one has ripples and comes out with a werid width anyhow. and sadly i dont have a ruler handy shop closed up once again sorry, and thanks

used a ruler today and the inner diamter is around 3 but outer is more 3.5" just for clarification
