Stripped ECU ground on block

So I took the UIM off the take out the injectors and sent them to be cleaned. While I was at it I have been taking off the emmissions equipment and regrounding some things. I stripped the main ecu ground on the block. The bolt will barely hold there. Can I extend the wires and ground the ecu where the engine grounds to the firewall?

Bolt it to somewhere else on the engine. There are plenty of suitable places, just look around.

Thanks, just wanted to double check before I put it back together. Would the tranny ground on top of the tranny that goes to the firewall be suficient?

Should be fine. Make sure there's clean bare metal on both surfaces.
