street porting prices
Depends on who ports it for you. You will need your engine disassembled, so you might as well rebuild it at the same time. In addition to the cost of the rebuild, most places charge from $100 to $300ish depending on what type of port it is.

You could always do it yourself. Buy a dremel, some carbide burr's. Troll the F/S section and find someeone parting out a pop'd engine and buy the housings. Im still working on my first engine now, however its not that hard, just go slow and read alot

Im working on a partial bridge, lil more work than a streetport, however ive got maby 7-8hs+ into it. I have ported the front secondary and both primarys, i have to do the entire rear secondary and finish porting the runners on all 4. This is also my first time porting, so its probably taking me a lil longer than if I had done this before

Yeah, if you are comfortable, do it yourself. To me, a dremel is to wussy to do the major material removal. A die grinder is the only way to go...After that, clean up with the Dremel. Also, get a good set of abrasives. What auto parts stores sell are crap. Standard Abrasives makes a cylinder head porting kit that works quite well...
Do it yourself, I ported all six ports in approximately 7-8 hours usind diamond grinding points.
So far its been free, I use the tool we have at work...
