Strange transmission problem
well its not really a problem anymore, but it is still strange i think.
i replace the clutch in my car and then it wont go in reverse, for anything. then i rebuild the motor in it and reverse works, dosnt really like to all the time but it will. any thoughts as to the reason behind this?

probialy your reverse switch. it is located on the very end of the trans on the drivers side. there is a cylinder in there that is spring loaded so you wont go from 3rd to reverse. but if it is put in wrong or slightly sideways it wont work right.
