Unhappy Strange Suspension problem

okay so i replace the wheel bearings in the front because they were bad. when i had the tire off i should move the rotor top to bottom about 1/3 inch. real bad. i replace the bearing set but reused the hub and races seeing that didnt look that bad and im not going to get a new hub to replace the races.

the rotor is much tighter and all that once its all reassembled. but with tire on and the car on the ground, i can still move the tire top to bottom pretty good. what else in the suspension could cause that? The struts are leaking so i know those are weak. but that should have a problem with the tire movement though...

thoughts?

Bad idea using new bearings in old races. But I would also check the ball joints, if you're having up-and-down wheel movements.
