strange speedometer

strange speedometer

my speedometer jumps crazy up and down when I drive. the cabel is connected and the strange thing is that the km (miles) counter is working fine. what can it be??

could be cable, speedo, or the gear in the trans.

tought it could be the cabel, but then, why is the km counter still work?

yeah, either the gear or the cable is damaged, and will only get worse.

Speedo cable is a common failure.
I think a replacement is only like $35.
