Strange Screeching Noise

My car makes a strange noise from the engine bay when idleing. It's a constant screech noise that doesnt stop and it seems like its coming from the belt? Is it bad? Should I replace it?

This problem started after I let my car sit for two days

check the belt deflection if its more then a 1/2 tighten it, if the belt looks cracked and such replace it and make sure its tight

Belt deflection is a term of measurement of how much the belt moves when you press on the belt in the space inbetween the pulleys holding it. If you ever hear the niose again, CHECK THE DEFLECTION!!
