My idle has been fine for the past 5 months then about 2 weeks ago it didnt idle at all. I tried to look for a vac leak somewhere, but found nothing. Then it started to idle again, but very roughly. Now it is back to not idling. It will die unless i ref it up to 2 grand. Any ideas.

Very large vac leak. Blown apex seals, Fould ignition.

 

Do you really think its a blown seal?

 

Do a compression check.

 

ok, what should i see on the front and back?

 

Pull the plugs & listen for regular "chuff" sounds as you turn the engine over. If you have a blown apex seal, you'll get a missing "chuff" or two.
