a strange idea

ok i just got a trange idea and dont know if it would work just looking to see what other people think. i dont know to much about the omp but does anyone know if there is a way to feed it oil from outside the engine? because the 2-cycle oil is better for being burned hence the premixing (duh) well if oil could be feed to the omp from outside the engine then you could use the 2-cycle oil and better keep an eye on oil consumption and level. just throwing it out there to see what everybody thinks.

Yes, there's a Racing Beat adapter designed specifically for that purpose.

Nope, It's made by rotary aviation and includes a blockoff plate that will still meter oil from a separate reservoir set up somewhere else in the engine bay. Good stuff. Just screw on the blockoff/adaptor and run lines to it from a container that could easily mount to the firewall. Fill w/ 2-stroke and you're good to go.
