strange clicking noise from behind

I been hearing this noise now for awhile. Its while driving it clicks, no matter if in gear or in not. I step on the brakes and it goes away! Let go and it comes back..etc.
Any ideas?

loose lug nuts, bad rear bearings.

lift up the car and spin the wheels around so you can pinpoint where it is.

Find out if it changes based on speed, for starters!

Could just be a nail in a tire!

Or your brakes could be loose.

hahaha...I got the same problem..coming from the front...clicks when you hit the brakes sometimes...you also hear a constant click...click...click when driving which speeds up as you accelarate and goes away for a second if you hit or tap the brakes...I've had it checked out...just the hardware...it's does get annoying though. I'm gonna fix mine when I change my pads next...

I put the car on the lift, had someone drive it while in the air and of course no sound!
As as I pull it out and drive it comes back any more ideas?
