Straight from Japan- crap!!

Alright people, whats going on? So, check it out. I just put in my swap from a RHD clip I shipped out from holy land and I'm haveing some trouble.

specs, 1979 rx7 sa
gsl-se suspension
lsd
adjustable shocks/raceingbeat springs
custom made driveshaft
3" all the way
1990 turbo II motor and tranny
s5 harness/ecu n370
smog crap out

couple little things but it's nice
well when i'm boosting up and I hit about 4600---5000 rpms. I get hesistation and backfireing. It seems like a fuel cut out. I really want to smash on some people so if some could hook me up if they have had something like this and have a smart answer let me know. thanks

too much for stock ECU even if it has a FCD. do you want this motor to run tomorrow? read up on proper modding methods.

We all are suspecting the same thing: Big exhaust + stock waste gate = boost creep.
The stock fuel system has very little head room for overboosting.
The fuel cuts are all that's saving your motor from deadly detonations.

actually, the s5 turbo suffers from pretty much no boost creep at all.

get a fuel cut defenser, fuel pump, and fuel management computer of some sort. and add bigger secondary injectors if you plan on more than 10psi.

Yep, cars 25+ years old don't do emmisions, at least around here.
And in case it hasn't been said enough, get fuel mods.
