Hey all, it's not to much to ask for a straight answer about the idle surge, is it ?
I know many of you have found the problem to the ' idle' problems but don't feel the need to help other people in the same boat. I mean c'mon now. it would help alot of people here. Me, i've tried everything just short of tearing the whole thing apart and rebuild it. vacum leaks, bac valve, TB, the pros know what i mean but keep it a secret....time to share, guys give it up..

Honestly I thought it is covered well and many times a week or month???
Usually grounding or bad wiring, air leak, injectors dirty, a tune up etc. etc.
Sometimes all of the above and more. These cars are well aged now and a lot of little gremlins are present. I do something new every month I have owned the car and it keeps getting better and better.
I don't think anyone is hiding any info from you

About what range does the surging happen? 500 to a 1000? Or a 1100 to 1500???? And does it happen all the time or just upon startup? ?Those are the sort of questions asked in the posts above, and relevant.
A tps shouldn't cause it, if when it was set on a series four, the water temperature was fully HOT.
