Storing My 7

well a lot has happened in the last few weeks. . . but the 7 was in a wreck and is now pretty messed up(motor is fine still just body and a control arm broke) so im going to start my first project car, save up over winter driving a little civic and do a swap in spring, the only thing is im storing my car away from this next weekend til about may.

so my question is, while storing away my car, are there certain things i have to do?? like for being away for about 7 months, do i need to remove the fluids? put something in gas tank? have gas or no gas?? im not sure wat i need to do so the engine doesnt get messed up or something else doesnt for it sitting that long, so please help me out on if i need to do anything before she goes away

thank you

Use fuel stabilizer and hook a vaccuum line up to some 2 storke while it's running to coat things inside and check your antifreeze. That's just some basics, you can be much more thorough if you want.

Beautiful write up!

Anything in particular you need to do with the transmission?

I'm looking to store a manual transmission for an extended period of time, so far the only transmission products/treatments I've been able to find are for use in Automatics Only...

Thanks!

Just put a light oil on the shafts to prevent them from rusting, and seal up the tailhousing (plastic bag and zip ties, large condom, etc.) to prevent fluid loss. If the oil has not been changed in a long time, probably a good idea to do that as well.
