storing Fc and check engine light help

Hey i finally got an Fc today but i dont want to drive it with this crazy weather(one day it will be nice next day its snowing.so im going to store it intill warm weather rolls back around but i need some info about steps i should take.im hopefully going to store it at uhaul tommrow but i just wanna make sure when i start it back up in a month 2 months or so nothing i wont have to wry about neglect from not storing it right so any help wit that will be much appriciated.and when i was driving it back home i noticed if i opend the throttle up to maybe almost full throttle or just suddelny the check engine light would come on what could that possibly caused from?i have to store it today(wensday so if some one could get back to me in the next few hours it would be helpful.Thanx
