ok, im joining the navy and am d.e.p right now but will be leaving sept. 12th, i was just wondering if it would be best to leave the gas tank empty while its parked at grandma's or leave it full? i dont really know when ill be back, all i know is "A school takes 8 weeks and im not joining the reserve so i dont have a clue as to when ill be back. just wondering if anyone could give me some insight. leave it full and drain when i come in or empty while im away, cause i wont trust the using the gas at all if i leave it full so if i leave it full it will all be discarded when i return for any amount of time and it really dont bother me so please dont give me the lecture on wasting gas at the prices they are now

 

anyone, i was just really wondering what preps i should take otherwise too, and if the tank would rust if i left it empty?
