Question stoich-opasetic

ok,
so my A/F guage (narrow band ) is installed and working properly. and its showing me that idle is off the scale lean, is this ok, or should it be in the stoich range? just curious, cause it runs well at idle.

thanx

Remove the belt from your air pump and see what happens.

my autometer z series a/f ratio guage (which is also hooked up on narrow band) shows lean at idle too, i dont think its a big deal since your throttle is so low

It's what EVIL AVIATOR implied in his response. It's the airpump. The airpump directly pumps air into the exaust ports. The last time I looked the exaust ports are prior to the 02 sensor.

Either pull the belt off the airpump......or simpler, pull the BLUE connector off the Relief solenoid. When you do that the air is dumped overboard, so it does not mix thru the exaust ports. Takes but a moment to do this. Look at the gauge prior to pulling the Blue connector off, then look at the gauge after pulling it off. It probably read in the .010v range before and around .65v after.
