Is stock Y-Pipe killing me?

Ok mods in sig. I have pacesetter header going to a trush glasspack that connects to the stock Y-pipe. The only reason I havent upgraded it yet is because I really dont want a really loud car, but if the power difference is significant I would probably do it. What are everyones thoughts? And would a larger diameter Y-pipe make my car that much louder?

ya, the stock y pipe is ridculously small. i had a stock ypipe going to some high flow mufflers...when i got a bigger ypipe it made a big difference...you need to dump it.

Ok Doty, It all depends on the exhaust u get, if u get an exhaust like an N1 its not really that loud, youve heard my car. But a straight open exhaust w/ no muffler will be really f-ing loud. Just get something w/ a muffler.

You're exhaust can only flow as well as your smallest pipe. Therefore, you might wanna change the y-pipe out for larger diameter pipes.
