Question Stock Wheel Question

Will a 225/50ZR16 Tire Fit on the Stock 16x7 Mesh Wheel?

Also, how much would it cost (approximatley) to get them powdercoated white?

would a 16x6 wheel be better?

Cause I have those tires with about 1000 Miles on em, and I wanna get rid of my current ugly wheels, but don't wanna have to replace the tires.

The stock 16x7 fits most 225/50-16 without much problem. Occasionally some tires have a very wide sidewall and will rub a little only in the front, but it is reasonably rare and more related to suspension condition.

Do you have access to a set of the series 5 wheels like the in the picture? they are getting rare.

I may be able to get a second set. How much are they worth? (and I hope who I am buying them from doesn't know this)

It all depends on the tire. The government allows about a 10% variance for the tire size to fall in. My 225/50 16 Yokohama A509's(mounted on TII rims) do not scrub. But other brand names of the same size may scrub. It all depend on if the tire was a little larger than the actual listed size or a little smaller. It may actually be a 228/53 16(if you exactly measured the tire) but they are allowed to call it a 225/50 16. Do you understand where I'm going?
